An elopement on the Oregon coast is always a good thing. Bring in an amazing vendor team, beautiful winter florals, some crazy winter Oregon weather and you get a really good time! :) Karra and Stefan are one of the sweetest couples out there and it was a treat to meet and work with them. Originally they eloped at a courthouse, so this was a fun and intimate way to rekindle their love. More on Utterly Engaged with their full love story and how this shoot came to be!
The session starts out with an intimate and authentic morning with coffee, bagels, toast, and all of the fixings. A really romantic start to their wedding day. After getting ready, they traveled to the coast where they were greeted with some less than favorable temperatures.
It was extremely windy and cold that day, but everything turned out lovely. We created an arrangement for their morning session, and a large bridal bouquet for Karra. This is one of my favorite winter bouquets I have made! Luck was in our favor and we were able to get peonies, beautiful garden roses, tallow berry, cedar, and much more beauties. I really enjoyed working with a moody palette of dusty pink, mauve, plum, white and navy. Perfect for an Oregon coast elopement in early December!
This elopement was also featured on Utterly Engaged, which we were all so grateful for! Feel free to take a look using the link to view more of the photos. There's also a beautiful video from the day below all of the photos, Bryon and Ashlie did an amazing job!
