Spring time is one of my favorite times in the Gorge in Oregon. The Columbia Gorge Hotel is a stunning location for a spring wedding and if you love cherry blossoms, you won't be disappointed!Read More
This editorial shoot was a really wonderful time for me! I had a great time collaborating with the talented group of vendors listed below. It was so hard to pick through all of the amazing images from Donny captured that day, but these are definitely my favorites.
It's always such a treat when clients fly in from other parts of the country to elope here in Oregon and they chose Foraged Floral as their florist! I love getting to know brides and grooms, and adventure elopements are some of my favorite.
C & E were wonderful to work with and so sweet! They brought along a small cutting cake and champagne to celebrate after their vows at Wahclella Falls. Their vision for their April wedding day was beautiful and I am so thankful to have played a small role in their celebration. Congrats to you both!
For Casey's bouquet I used peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, clematis foliage and much more. Spring time flowers are some of the best, so I went all out! :) These designs were some of my favorite of the year.
I really enjoy collaborating with other creatives for editorial photo shoots. My favorite shoots take place outside, deep in the heart of nature, because I believe my florals look best among the lush green backdrop. My style of floral design is very earthy and organic, which seems to be complimented best with the great outdoors as its backdrop. :)
This shoot took place in a forest preserve, just outside of Chicago. We were inspired by all of the beautiful greenery and flowers that were popping up that time of year (Spring!). Simple, clean and understated florals made this shoot very unique. Sometimes a smaller bouquet, rather than a large, over sized one, makes all the difference. Peonies, dusty miller, scabiosa, garden roses and more were used in these designs.
I also created a rose and succulent bridal hairpiece, which still remains one of my favorite hair pieces of all time. I love how it curves against our models head for a natural look. It was a bit larger than most brides want, but you'd be surprised on the size of hairpieces. This one was fairly large, but really doesn't overpower our model's head at all. It was a true perfect fit for the look we were trying to achieve.
